London, England
As part of the Liberal Studies Dean Circle, I was given the opportunity to go to London over winter break, to "conduct research for my final project." For me, that meant going to the British Museum to see the Parthenon (Elgin, as they like to call them) Marbles in person, something that I was very excited to do! The NYU campus in London is right around the corner from the British Museum which was convenient, but a bit far from everything else I wanted to see, so my friend and I, Alaina, decided to spend our one free day zigzagging across the whole city of London to do all the sight seeing we could possibly manage. I took photos along the way, despite the fact that I only had thin leather gloves and my fingers were blue from the cold, because I knew I would cherish them for years to come. I shared a few of my favorites from the Saatchi Gallery, the Buckingham Palace, and Piccadilly Circus below, unfortunately the London Eye was closed for renovations, so we could only look at it from below!
